We're happy to announce that the SFLBC Winter Ladder Challenge is just about ready to start.
If all goes smoothly(!), next Friday (January 5) will be the start day for the Ladder Challenge, open to all bowling members of SFLBC. There will be three (3) separate ladders based on Club handicap with no separation by gender. The Challenge will run from January 5 through March 31; entry fee will be $5/person.
Daniel Gorelick will manage the ladder. The attached PDF outlines the 'Rules' for the Ladder Challenge'; these rules can also be found online via the following link - https://goo.gl/v27T1y
The actual ladder rankings will be determined by blind draw on January 4 (once 2018 handicaps
have been determined by the Tournament Committees).

Can't make it to the daily 11 am draw game at the Club?
Do you ever head out to the Club on a weekday afternoon or a non-tournament weekend with the hope that you'll run into another member who wants to play a game of bowls? Thanks to Andrew Keeler (one of our newest members) and VP John Grimes, SFLBC now has a new electronic tool to communicate your interest and availability to roll a social game on a given day or time. Please bookmark our new Social Play Calendar!
Find informal games! Create games for others to join!
CHECK IT OUT! — the more we use it, the more social play we’ll have!
NOTE: This calendar does NOT take the place of the Club's Activities Calendar (see below) of tournaments and events; its purely designed to facilitate more opportunities for members to engage in social bowling throughout each day!
