There are currently two sign-up sheets on the clubhouse board:
SFLBC Season Opener / St. Patrick’s Day Celebration (Sun., March 12 ):
Sign up for the 14-end draw triples games to be held immediately after the Board of Directors Meeting. Meeting starts promptly at 10 a.m., ending probably between 11 and 12. While this is specifically a meeting of the Board of Directors (members welcome to observe, but not participate except at the agenda item providing for general member comments/questions),President Vlachos emphasized at the February Social that he’d like to see as many members as possible in attendance due to the significance of various agenda items, particularly the reports of the new Budget Committee and the Membership Committee. Members should not be socializing in the clubhouse during the meeting.
PIMD OPENING DAY (Saturday, March 18, 8:45 a.m., at Rossmoor LBC) :
$10 fee per bowler) Format is the usual draw triples for two 12-end games. When you sign up, you must specify your skill level (lead-vice-skip) and pay the entry fee to me in advance (checks payable to PIMD). DEADLINE is Friday, March 10. WHITE ATTIRE ONLY! Be sure to bring your flat-soled bowling shoes with you separately, not worn as your street shoes. To avoid greens contamination, Rossmoor will not allow bowlers to participate in shoes worn as street shoes prior to arrival. Be forewarned! Since your sign-up deadline occurs prior to our own March events on the 12th and 14th, with the weather potentially limiting our bowling presence around the club, you may sign up directly with me (e-mail or phone) rather than going to the club, BUT YOUR CHECK MUST BE IN MY HANDS BY THE DEADLINE IF YOU EXPECT TO BOWL ON THE 18TH!!
Thanks! --- Rod
