San Francisco Lawn Bowling Club Turns 125!
Sunday, October 25th, 10AM to 2PM
Come celebrate 125 years on the green! The San Francisco Lawn Bowling Club invites everyone to a free community celebration in Golden Gate Park on Sunday, October 25. Try lawn bowling, tour our historic clubhouse and museum, join in games, enjoy refreshments and prizes, and meet the people who make this 125-year-old club thrive. A youth clinic will be offered for ages 12+. No experience necessary—just wear flat-soled shoes and come play!
SFLBC recently took center stage on SFGovTV’s Get Out and Play! series!
Host Michael Baltazar and his team visited our historic greens to discover what makes lawn bowling such a wonderful sport and our club a special community. They made a sweet video to introduce more San Franciscans to the game we love. Watch the video, share it with your fellow bowlers, friends, and family who ask:

Lessons are FREE.
Membership
Membership includes weekly social bowls where you can grow your skills and compete in a fun, friendly environment. Monthly socials include prizes and food, too. The club sponsors other events, including game days, BBQ, and more.
Tournaments
We host a variety of tournaments and events throughout the year, including local and regional competitions. Mark your calendar for some exciting lawn bowling action!
