Lawn bowling is a sport for everyone, and at SFLBC, we are committed to making our club accessible and inclusive for all. We welcome people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to join us in sharing our love for this wonderful sport. From our experienced members to those just starting out, we aim to create a community where everyone feels welcome and supported.
Social Bowl Sign-Up
All members are welcome to participate in "chip" draw games. This is a great chance to meet other new members and practice bowling. There will be coaches and vets around as well to help out. It is free, fun, and a great way to improve your game.
Draw games are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 10 am and 12:15 pm. Please arrive at 9:45 or 12 noon to put your name in the draw.
Check Member Reservations to sign up to bowl and see when fellow members are bowling.
Cheryl's Gardening Club
Our Garden Club at the Lawn Bowling Club is the perfect place to indulge your green or not-so-green thumb. Three hours per month, no experience necessary.
Join us at the club on the first Wednesday of every month from 9:30 a.m. to noon to keep the SFLBC gardens beautiful!
Head to Haight Street to find your dress whites and join SFLBC members for one or more of the 13 sanctioned tournaments during the year. The winners of these tournaments determine the Men's and Women's Bowler of the Year. In addition, the club hosts mixed/matched social draw tournaments throughout the year. Emails of upcoming club tournaments are sent in advance.
