Who We Are
The San Francisco Lawn Bowling Club, with over 250 members, is the country's second-largest and fastest-growing lawn bowls club. Founded in 1901, our facilities are an official San Francisco Landmark in Golden Gate Park, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our enthusiastic, all-volunteer leadership and coaching teams serve as stewards on behalf of the SF Rec & Parks Department, dedicated to sharing our blissful game and public facility with the local community. Club coaches provide hundreds of free lessons each year. While our membership skews older, we’re invigorated by the addition of younger members and offer a full calendar of events.
